SOUTHEAST COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT REDEVELOPING PROPERTY IN LONGWOOD Altamonte Springs, FL – Southeast Commercial Development (SCD) – a full-service company providing development and construction management services – is currently redeveloping the commercial property at the Southwest corner of Douglas Road and State Road 434. The property will house a Fifth Third Bank and Starbucks. Construction is scheduled to be completed in the 3rd quarter of 2007. GRAND OPENING OF OVIEDO FACILITY Oviedo, Fla. — LA Fitness® — a nationwide operator of more than 140 sports clubs — including six in Orlando — officially opened its newest facility in Oviedo on Mitchell Hammock Road with a grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting ceremony. Mayor of Oviedo Tom Walters, city councilmen Steve Henken, vice chairman James Greer and Dr. Cordell O'Connor, president of the Greater Oviedo Chamber of Commerce, conducted the ribbon cutting ceremony. "LA Fitness is a great addition to our city, and it will foster and promote pride within our community," said Mayor Walters. The once abandoned strip plaza is now home to the 40,000-square-foot fitness facility that boasts a heated, four-lane indoor swimming pool; sauna; spa; state-of-the-art fitness equipment and free weight center.
